Insurance Claims Specialist

Pay: $28.00-$36.50/hour

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a respected nonprofit affordable housing organization seeking an Insurance Claims Specialist to support property and liability claims, risk management initiatives, and cross-functional operations. What You'll Do

• Manage property and liability insurance claims from intake through resolution
• Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, adjusters, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Review incident reports and gather supporting documentation
• Monitor claim status, expenses, invoices, and recovery opportunities
• Maintain accurate claim records and reporting
• Support risk management and loss prevention initiatives
• Assist with inspections, documentation requests, and claim-related communications
• Partner with internal teams to ensure timely claim resolution

What You Bring

• 2+ years of insurance claims, risk management, property management, or related experience
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

• Property and liability claims experience
• Background in property management, insurance, real estate, accounting, or finance
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and insurance partners
